Government Engineering College, Barton Hill (GEC-BH) is a public engineering college situated in Barton Hill, Thiruvananthapuram, India. Founded in 1999 by the Government of Kerala, it provides engineering programmes under the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, accredited to the National Board of Accreditation.

This led to the creation of the Royal Technical College of East Africa (RTCEA). [5]
The university has two campuses: The main campus is located near the western side of the Nairobi National Park on Magadi Road in Nairobi. It has a telecommunications museum and several residential halls. [2] The second campus is located in the Nairobi Central Business District, in Uniafric House on Loita Street. [3]
