This had been built in 1907 by the Governor of Jamaica Hugh Clarence Bourne to replace the previous building destroyed in the 1907 Kingston earthquake. This previous building had been in use as a rectory and it was in allusion to this that the name "Priory" was chosen for the new building.

Hawkins County School District, also known as Hawkins County School System or Hawkins County Schools (HCS), is a school district headquartered in Rogersville, Tennessee. [ 1 ] The district includes most areas in Hawkins County , with the exceptions of portions in Kingsport (which are in Kingsport City Schools ).
The buildings have been modernised since and today Harrytown serves a wide catchment area, for seven feeder Catholic primary schools in the east of Stockport. The school has a house system, where houses compete with each other. Originally, the school had four houses named after the English Martyrs – Fisher, Campion, Moore and Beckett.
In 1999 the school was selected to join the New Horizon Project which aimed to increase the literacy and numeracy levels of primary students. [1] At the turn of the century the school was receiving financial support from various banks (NCB, JN, RBTT, BNS) and other companies including Cable and Wireless Jamaica Ltd and Nestle Jamaica Ltd.
