Clint Independent School District is a public school district in eastern El Paso County, Texas ().. The Clint Independent School District serves the town of Clint, a portion of Horizon City, and a small section of Socorro, as well as the census-designated places of Agua Dulce, Butterfield, most of Homestead Meadows North, Homestead Meadows South, and Morning Glory. The first school in Clint was established in 1910. New buildings were added in 1913 and 1921. A devastating fire for the community and the High School occurred in 1934. Clint High School re-opened its doors for the 1936-37 school years. Several improvements were made to the school while it was at that site.
Mountain View Jr./Sr. High School opened its doors to students on September 4, 1989. It serviced students in grades 7-10, and enrollment was 457.
Clint ISD, along with Horizon H.S., honored the youngest victim of the Walmart shooting at what would've been his graduation at the Don Haskins Center

The history of this school starts in the year 1886 as an adobe house for the purposes of giving church and school to the surrounding developing area of Clint, Texas.
