When their plane crashes during a school trip, four high school girls, Homare Onishima, Asuka Suzumori, Mutsu Amatani, and Shion Kujō, find themselves stranded on a remote island. Using the survival skills she picked up from her father, Homare helps the others to survive island life as they try to make the best of their situation.
Hōzuki Island (鬼燈の島, Hōzuki no Shima) is a manga written and illustrated by Kei Sanbe. It was serialized in Square Enix bi-monthly seinen magazine Young Gangan from December 2007 to July 2009.

Cage of Eden (Japanese: エデンの檻, Hepburn: Eden no Ori) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshinobu Yamada. It follows a group of teenage survivors of a plane crash who find themselves in a mysterious island inhabited by extinct prehistoric creatures and plants.
She is the older sister of Shinobu and Mikoto and like her sister's, she is also a kunoichi. She happens to be a teacher in the island, and she is fond of using smoke bombs to get away. She's also fond of hugging people who she thinks are small and cute. She did not appear in the anime series, but was mentioned in episode 18. Suzuran (すずらん)
Brindo (Junpei Morita) – He is an escaped prisoner who highjacked The Orion and crashed to the same island as Luna and the crew. He seems to be the leader and is the most insightful of the three. Zilba (Kyoko Hikami) – The only female prisoner of the other two that escaped on The Orion. She seems to enjoy the Island.
The next morning, Amuro wakes up in the ruins of the island's lighthouse and meets Cucuruz Doan, a former Zeon ace pilot and member of the Southern Cross team who deserted to protect the children who were orphaned after their families were killed during the early days of the One Year War.
Lost in Blue 3 (Original Title: Survival Kids: 小さな島の大きな秘密!?, directly translates to "Survival Kids: The Big Secret of the Small Island!?") was developed by Matrix Software for the Nintendo DS. It was released on December 20, 2007 in Japan with the North American version released on March 18, 2008.
