AFI (abbreviation for A Fire Inside) [a] is an American rock band from Ukiah, California, formed in 1991.Since 1998, it consists of lead vocalist Davey Havok, drummer and backing vocalist Adam Carson, bassist, backing vocalist and keyboardist Hunter Burgan, and guitarist, backing vocalist and keyboardist Jade Puget. AFI's 100 Years... 100 Heroes & Villains is a list of the one hundred greatest screen characters (fifty each in the hero and villain categories) as chosen by the American Film Institute in June 2003. It is part of the AFI 100 Years... series. The list was first presented in a CBS special hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
AFI's eighth studio album Crash Love was released on September 29, 2009, and Burials was released on October 22, 2013. In late 2016, AFI released a series of teaser videos featuring song clips and backwards audio, eventually revealed to be promotion for AFI (also known as The Blood Album), released on January 20, 2017 via Concord Music Group. Adam Alexander Carson (born February 5, 1975) is the drummer of the alternative rock band AFI. He and Davey Havok are the two original members left in the lineup. [2] Carson also filled in as drummer for the psychobilly band Tiger Army. His drumming can be found on Tiger Army's Early Years EP as well as their debut album Tiger Army. [3]
