Current Publishing was founded by Andrew Selkirk, a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries and former Vice-President of the Royal Archaeological Institute, who launched the first magazine, Current Archaeology, in 1967. For its first 40 years, the publication was bi-monthly, becoming a monthly in 2007 up until the present day.

History Today is a history magazine. Published monthly in London since January 1951, it presents authoritative history to as wide a public as possible. [ 1 ] The magazine covers all periods and geographical regions and publishes articles of traditional narrative history alongside new research and historiography .
The Year in Industry was set up in 1986 in the Bristol area and was originally called Pre-Formation of Undergraduate Engineers (PFUE). It has placed over 8500 students to date, in 2007 over 250 UK companies were involved in the scheme. The scheme has received a lot of praise from both universities [2] and industry. [3] [4]
