Morton is a civil parish in the North East Derbyshire district of Derbyshire, England. The parish contains six listed buildings that are recorded in the National Heritage List for England . Of these, one is listed at Grade II*, the middle of the three grades, and the others are at Grade II, the lowest grade.
Morton – First (1863) School. The first Morton school opened in 1863. It was a single-room stone building known as the Old Dames School, near the church. It was replaced in 1884 by a building on the site of the current primary school. This school cost £600 and had an average attendance of 192 pupils.
