I have a 2012 Club Car Precedent that stopped working. I have done a ton of troubleshooting, but still no go. I have changed the Solenoid, replaced the FWD/RVS switch, replaced the ignition switch. Batteries are fine with 8.4v and 51v across the bank. The Solenoid does not click, but is getting voltage at the large terminals.
I have a 2010 or 2011 48 volt club car precedent that is surging back and forth as you drive it. It's seems you can feel it doing it mostly at top speed where it almost feels as if you were taking your foot off the pedal a little then speeds back up. It also does this at low speeds as well when your just taking off.
Precedent steering problem Electric Club Car. My club car precedent has recently developed a steering problem. While riding in a straight line if I turn the wheel in either direction it's really tight for about a quarter of the turn then as the cart travels into the turn it loosens up throughout the remainder of the turn but when I try to turn it back to straight it gets tight aga
Re: 2009 Club Car Precedent troubleshooting. You are right, not as a function of ohm's law. I'll admit I have a limited understanding, especially compared to your vast knowledge and maybe I am not seeing it clearly but when speed increases, motor torque (amps) goes from stall current (max amps) at startup down to a point where it equals the ...
Re: 2009 Club Car Precedent troubleshooting. Just a note, low voltage caused by weak batteries does not cause "high amperage", after all if the batteries could deliver high amperage the voltage would not sag. The low voltage/high current scenario only happens with healthy batteries when the pack is improperly connected to the cart.
Rpm limiter bypass. After plenty of money and swearing, I have finally diagnosed my 93 club car with a faulty rpm limiter. I have replaced almost everything imaginable including - starter/generator, selanoid, all microswitches, battery, coil, ignitor, spark plugs and fuel filters. Anyway, while running and startup, tends to cut out and wasn't ...
We get asked a lot how to troubleshoot a Curtis 1510 or 1515 controller on a DS IQ, or Precedent with Excel or ERIC system without the handheld Curtis scan tool. So I figured I'd post this guide on here for people to reference. Testing an IQ controller with a multimeter by process of elimination. Set your multimeter to check for DC voltage.
Charging System Troubleshooting: (Charger Won't Turn On) *Use this troubleshooting guide to diagnose charging problems with 48 Volt Club Car vehicles. ***** 1. The first step would be to make sure the vehicle has enough voltage to trigger the charger turn-on signal from the on-board computer.
Precedent Lights not working. I have an 08 Precedent with the factory light kit installed. It's been working great for years, then all of a sudden one evening the headlights turned off for a couple of seconds then back on. A few days later, the headlights or tail lights don't come on at all. I have verified wiring is good and all connections ...
Re: 2007 Club Car Precedent won't move/charge. By-pass the OBC controller lockout circuit. Disconnect the 6-pin OBC connector and jump the Blue and White wires on the harness connector together. When the OBC is on lockout, the reverse buzzer will not make sound. 10-09-2017, 02:39 PM.
