SSG (Join to see) - Secretary McHugh signed the memo that authorized the transition to the Army Enterprise e-mail. What this means for retirees, is that they will not have access to AKO e-mails and must obtain one from a civilian commercial provider.
ENTERPRISE EMAIL: Entered: https://web.mail.mil/owa and entered my password and I am forwarded to the following page (the photograph). "Your session could not be established. I know I could have contacted privately via inbox but I hope an open forum would resolve this issue not only for me but for whoever else that may have or will experience this. I have had this issue on my home computer (laptop) now for three days. I can log into AKO with the regular certificate (not the EMAIL one) but when I want to check my email on Enterprise (of course I select the EMAIL ...
CPT (Join to see) 16.5K. 6. 9. 2. 2. 0. Since I reentered active duty after a 2 year break in service I have been able to access AKO and most other systems, but I haven't been able to access my Enterprise email. It is probably a certificate issue either because you received a new ID card with a new certificate that the existing tunnel does not recognize or your Enterprise Email has transitioned to you PIV certificate and the connection still has your ID certificate. In either case, if you start a new session and select the correct ...

I log onto AKO and click on "EMail" and then it brings me to this "Your AKO mailbox is no longer receiving any new mail; all incoming messages are being sent to your Enterprise Email (EE) inbox. Access it, using a CAC, at https://web.mail.mil." & I click on the link to the email. I then click the agree button to consent and am given an answer "Your session could not be established. The ...
