Pinnacle High School (PHS) is a public high school located in the north valley of Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona. PHS opened in 2000, [3] and is a part of the Paradise Valley Unified School District (PVUSD). The students are called Pinnacle Pioneers and the school's mascot is Pioneer Pete.

Pinnacle Peak and its surrounding area became a part of the Arizona State Trust Land. In the 1980s, the area was annexed into Scottsdale and was established as a 185-acre (75 ha) park.
