White Oak Park is a 810-acre (3.3 km 2) county park in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is a part of the county's 12,000-acre (49 km 2 ) network of nine distinct parks. It is located 15 miles (24 km) southeast of downtown Pittsburgh in White Oak, Pennsylvania .
White Oak Lake State Park is a state park in the southwest of the U.S. state of Arkansas, a few miles from Bluff City. The reservoir sits surrounded by tall pine trees, giving it a rich, wooded beauty. The state park offers camping facilities, hiking and mountain biking trails, boat and bicycle rentals, as well as playground facilities.
This monument is located in White Oak Park. The park, built around a quarry, has 100 trees that were donated by labor unions, to honor local asbestos workers and others who died of work-related accidents and disabilities. It also includes a large flag pole, built from steam locomotive bearings, that was moved to the site by local unions in 1996.
