Highland Meadows Golf Club is a private country club and golf course in the central United States, located in Sylvania, Ohio, a suburb northwest of Toledo. Founded 100 years ago in 1925, it has hosted the Dana Open on the LPGA Tour since 1989 ; [ 4 ] [ 5 ] the event began in 1984 as the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic.
The tournament was founded after PGA Tour caddie Judd Silverman, a Toledo native, sought to bring a ladies professional golf tournament to his hometown. He contacted sponsors and actor Jamie Farr, also a Toledo native, brought his name and several of his celebrity friends to the tournament.

The rezoning allows for a 32-home residential development called The Meadows at Highlands on the 160-acre former High Lands Golf Club property.
Inverness was founded in 1903, when many of Toledo's wealthiest citizens purchased a parcel of land and built a nine-hole golf course. The course was eventually expanded to 18 holes. In 1916, the club hired Donald Ross to construct a championship-caliber golf course, which was finished by the end of 1918.
