Rhyl (/ r ɪ l /; Welsh: Y Rhyl, pronounced [ə ˈr̥ɨl]) is a seaside town and community in Denbighshire in Wales. The town lies on the coast of North Wales , at the mouth of the River Clwyd . To the west is Kinmel Bay and Towyn , to the east Prestatyn , and to the south-east Rhuddlan and St Asaph .
Bodelwyddan Castle (Welsh: Castell Bodelwyddan), close to the village of Bodelwyddan, near Rhyl, Denbighshire in Wales, was built around 1460 by the Humphreys family of Anglesey as a manor house. It was associated with the Williams-Wynn family for around 200 years from 1690.

Kinmel Bay (Welsh: Bae Cinmel) is a large seaside village in Conwy County Borough, north-east Wales.It is also an electoral ward to the county council and town council. The resort town of Rhyl lies just across the River Clwyd in the neighbouring county of Denbighshire.
