Li Yujia (Simplified Chinese: 李羽佳; born 18 January 1983) is a Chinese-born Singaporean badminton player who competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the women's and mixed doubles event. [2] Born in Jingzhou , Hubei in 1983, she moved to Singapore at the age of 18 and is now a Singapore citizen.
The Singapore Open Badminton Championships is an annual badminton tournament created in 1929. [1] The Women's Singles was first contested in 1931. [2] The tournament was canceled between 1942 and 1946 because of World War II and discontinued from 1974 to 1986. It returned in 1987 as Konica Cup and was held until 1999.

Teamed-up with Li Yujia, they won the women's doubles silver medal at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games, losing the final to Malaysian pair Chin Eei Hui and Wong Pei Tty. [ 4 ] After her playing career, Jiang became a coach with the Singapore Badminton Association.
Singapore athletes have performed well in both regional and international competitions, mainly in swimming, badminton, table tennis, bowling, sailing, water polo, sepak takraw, and silat. To date, Singapore has won a total of one gold, two silver and two bronze Olympic medals.
