Two-digit years have been verboten since the 1990s, if not earlier. ISO 8601 permits (but does not require) separating the elements of a yyyymmdd date with hyphens (and the parts of a time with colons). ISO 8601 is the only all-numeric date format that is not ambiguous for days 1–12.
Potentially ambiguous dates, using slashes or full stops (6/7/1961, 12/07/1986, 6.7.1961, 12.07.1986) are re-appearing on some thousands of pages, despite being eradicated from the 'pedia a few years ago.
