As Yuki seeks out fun school activities every day while living at school, the other girls work to keep her safe, as in reality, they are the sole survivors of their school after a zombie outbreak overruns the city, and a traumatized Yuki has repressed her memories to live in a delusion where the outbreak never happened.
The story follows a group of high school students caught in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. A 12-episode anime adaptation, produced by Madhouse and covering the first four volumes, aired in Japan from July 5 to September 20, 2010.
