The 2024 Wisconsin Badgers football team represented the University of Wisconsin–Madison as a member of the Big Ten Conference during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Badgers were led by second-year head coach Luke Fickell and played home games at Camp Randall Stadium located in Madison, Wisconsin .
The series is tied 63–63–8 through 2024. [2] Wisconsin took the series lead for the first time after defeating Minnesota 31–0 in the 2017 game; Minnesota had led the overall series since 1902, at times by as many as 20 games.

The first Badger football team took the field in 1889, losing the only two games it played that season. In 1890, Wisconsin earned its first victory with a 106–0 drubbing of Whitewater Normal School (now the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater ), still the most lopsided win in school history.
