Yā Sīn [2] (also pronounced as Yaseen; Arabic: يٰسٓ, yāsīn; the letters 'Yā'' and 'Sīn') is the 36th chapter of the Quran. It has 83 verses . It is regarded an earlier "Meccan surah".
