Coral Academy of Science is a charter school that serves grades 1–12. The elementary school is located on Valley Road, while the middle school is located on 1350 East 9th Street, and the High School on Neil Road, all in Reno, Nevada. Coral Academy of Science has many sister locations in Henderson, Nevada.
In 2017 Siobhan McAndrew of the Reno Gazette Journal stated that historically Natchez had issues with academic performance but by 2017 had a new principal and newly-hired teachers. The district extensively renovated the school in summer 2017, spending $1.5 million to do so.
The Academy is committed to connecting students to the community and helping them recognize and embrace their leadership capacity and civic responsibility. All students participate in meaningful service experiences throughout high school, culminating in a capstone project that addresses a community need utilizing their academic/skills knowledge.

The Veterans Memorial Elementary School, also known as Veterans Memorial STEM Academy, at 1200 Locust St., is a public elementary school in Reno, Nevada, operated by the Washoe County School District. It occupies a historic Moderne-style building dating from 1949 that was designed by Nevada architect Russell Mills.
Edward C. Reed High School is named after Judge Edward C. Reed, Jr., a Senior United States District Judge for the District of Nevada.Before being appointed to the bench in 1979, Judge Reed was a Washoe County School Board Member from 1956 to 1959, and President of the School Board from 1959 to 1977.
Galena High School is a public secondary school in Southwest Reno, Nevada that is a part of the Washoe County School District. The school mascot is the Grizzly Bear, and the school's colors are black and gold. Their sports teams are known as the "Galena Grizzlies". Galena has been accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. [2]
Located in southeast Reno, the High School is named for the Damonte Ranch development during the rapid expansion of Reno NV. The Damonte Ranch High School DRHS opened as a combined middle school and high school, to help alleviate the overcrowding at Pine Middle School until Depoali Middle School was built.
