The Quinnipiac Bobcats softball team represents Quinnipiac University in NCAA Division I college softball. The team participates in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), having joined in 2014. Pecora was originally hired as associate head coach at Quinnipiac on March 28, 2017, under new head coach Baker Dunleavy. [2] Pecora, a veteran with 14 years of experience as a head coach at the Division I level, entered his third season at Quinnipiac in 2019–20. Born in Queens Village, New York, he graduated from Adelphi University in 1983.

Fabbri began her coaching career as an assistant at Fairfield from 1991 to 1995. Since taking over the helm at Quinnipiac in 1995, Fabbri has become the all-time winningest coach in Quinnipiac program history with a 379–276 (.579) overall and a 255–152 (.627) conference record.
Ball-Malone graduated from the University of the Pacific in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in sports sciences and earned her master's in education in 2006. She played softball, volleyball, and basketball in middle school and high school with famed Stanford and USA softball player, Jessica Mendoza.
