New Auburn is a village in Barron and Chippewa counties in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 562 at the 2020 census . Of these, 537 were in Chippewa County, and 25 were in Barron County.

The Town of Auburn is in northwestern Chippewa County and is bordered by Barron County to the north and Dunn County to the west. The village of New Auburn borders the northeast corner of the town. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 35.7 square miles (92.4 km 2), all land.
It includes the cities of Barron, Chetek, Cumberland, and Rice Lake, and the villages of Almena, Boyceville, Cameron, Colfax, Dallas, Haugen, New Auburn, Prairie Farm, Ridgeland, and Wheeler. [2] The district is represented by Republican David Armstrong, since January 2025; Armstrong previously represented the 75th district from 2021 to 2025. [3]
