Hanžeković Memorial (Croatian: Hanžekovićev memorijal), known also as Zagreb Meeting and Hanžek (hypocorism of the surname Hanžeković), is an annual three-day athletics event held first weekend of September at three different locations in Zagreb, Croatia as part of the IAAF World Challenge Meetings. It was first organized in 1951.

In the summer, theater performances and concerts, mostly in the Upper Town, are organized either indoors or outdoors. The stage on Opatovina hosts the Zagreb Histrionic Summer theater events. Zagreb is also the host of Zagrebfest, the oldest Croatian pop-music festival, as well as of several traditional international sports events and tournaments.

Croatian History Museum (Croatian: Hrvatski povijesni muzej) is a museum of history located in the Vojković Palace on Antun Gustav Matoš Street in the historic Gornji Grad district of Zagreb, Croatia. The museum holdings consist of around 300,000 objects divided into 17 collections. [2]
Maksimir Park in September. The landscaping was first conceived by Bishop Vrhovac in the baroque style. [2] As one of the earliest public parks, it followed the principles laid out by the gardening theorist Christian Cay Lorenz Hirschfeld. [4] In 1839, Bishop Juraj Haulik (1788–1869), and others redesigned the park. [5]
