Mike Giddings (November 16, 1933 – July 27, 2023) was an American football player, coach and scout. A 1951 graduate of South Pasadena High School where he was a multi-sport athlete, Giddings played college football for the California Golden Bears under head coach Pappy Waldorf .
The Hawaiians were a professional American football team based in Honolulu that played in the World Football League.They played two seasons, 1974 and 1975. Their records were 9–11 in 1974 and 4–7–1 in 1975.
In their first season under head coach Mike Giddings, the Redskins compiled an overall record of 5–5 with a mark of 3–2 against conference opponents, placing in a three-way tie for second in the WAC.
In their second and final season under head coach Mike Giddings, the Redskins compiled an overall record of 4–7 with a mark of 2–3 against conference opponents, placing fourth in the WAC. Home games were played on campus at Ute Stadium in Salt Lake City .
