Saad Sherida al-Kaabi (Arabic: سعد شريدة الكعبي) is the current Minister of Energy in Qatar, and the President and CEO of QatarEnergy, the state owned corporation which operates all oil and gas activities in the State of Qatar.
He was an author in Urdu. He fought against British rule for about 25 years (1922–1947) and spent eight years in jail. He was a politician as well and served as member of Indian Parliament for the Indian National Congress from Amroha from 1952 to 1962.
