Unlike other Louisville neighborhoods, Clifton was developed over a period of 60 years, with the first homes built in the 1860s sitting next to homes built in the 1910s, although nearly all homes were built in Victorian styles. Its residential areas are also much less dense than other nearby areas like Butchertown or the Original Highlands.
Bon Air is a neighborhood in eastern Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are I-264 to the north, Bardstown Road to the west, Furman Boulevard to the east, and subdivisions to the south. The earliest residential development was the Wellingmoor subdivision in 1939, laid out by Ralph Drake.

Chickasaw is a neighborhood in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. Its boundaries are West Broadway, 34th Street, Hale Avenue and Chickasaw Park. Chickasaw Park is predominantly black and middle-class. Before integration, Shawnee Park was reserved for whites, while Chickasaw Park was reserved for blacks.
