1985 Greyhound of the Year 1986 Greyhound of the Year Ballyregan Bob (12 May 1983 to 3 April 1994) was a racing greyhound who, along with Mick the Miller and Scurlogue Champ , is one of the most revered racing hounds in British greyhound racing.
100 Greatest Episodes of All-Time (1997) and Top 100 Episodes of All Time (2009) are lists of the 100 "best" television show episodes on U.S. television as published by TV Guide. The first list, published on June 28, 1997, was produced in collaboration with Nick at Nite's TV Land. [1] [2] The revised list was published on June 15, 2009.
Mick the Miller was included in the list as the only Greyhound, with the only other animal being multi–time Grand National winner Red Rum. [18] He is still referred to as the world's most famous Greyhound, [9] having won 51 of the 68 races he was entered into and is the only dog to have won the treble of the Derby, Cesarewitch and St Leger. [3]
After winning a race at Shelbourne Park he was purchased by Eddie Shotton for £10,000 and sent to trainer Nick Savva at Walthamstow Stadium. [2] The black dog was aimed at the 1997 English Greyhound Derby after just seven UK races (one of which resulted in a steward's inquiry for time finding in a graded race). [4]

The English Greyhound Derby is the most prestigious race on the British greyhound racing calendar, with a history stretching back to 1927. It was first held at White City Stadium , but moved to Wimbledon Stadium in 1985, and then Towcester Greyhound Stadium in 2017, Nottingham in 2019 and back to Towcester in 2021.
The All England Cup is a greyhound racing competition held annually. It was inaugurated in 1938 at Brough Park later known as Newcastle [ 1 ] [ 2 ] and replaced the Northumberland Stakes as the primary event at the stadium.
