[5] The website sells over 850 brands as well as its own range of clothing and accessories, and ships to all 196 countries from fulfilment centres in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Europe.
ASOS, which originally stood for As Seen On Screen, initially started trading with the tagline “Buy what you see on film and TV” as it exclusively sold imitations of clothing worn by celebrities.
Nicholas John Robertson (born November 1967) [1] is a British businessman, the co-founder of ASOS.com, an online fashion and beauty retailer, and its CEO from 2000 to 2015. Robertson, along with his brother Nigel Robertson the founder of FreePages, was educated at Canford School , Dorset.
