The HAL Tejas (Sanskrit: तेजस, ISO: Tējasa, lit. ' Radiance ') is an Indian single-engine, delta wing, multirole [9] combat aircraft designed by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the Indian Air Force (IAF) and Indian Navy.

The MiGs which were operated from Naliya were withdrawn from squadron service in 2002. It is the first operational squadron of the indigenous fighter jet HAL Tejas.
