Hamilton County Courthouse Complex is a historic courthouse complex located at Lake Pleasant in Hamilton County, New York, United States.The complex consists of three buildings: an 1848 Greek Revival style stone jail with 1940 stone addition, the 1929 brick courthouse, and county clerk's office building, also built in 1929.

The parkway curves west; within the curve is an intersection with another section of 83rd Avenue, where the parkway reduces to four lanes. Lake Pleasant Parkway continues west until 98th Avenue, where the highway curves north. North of Happy Valley Road, the highway's surroundings gradually change to open desert.
In May 2011, this segment opened as a four-lane freeway with interchanges at Happy Valley Parkway, Lone Mountain Parkway (not opened until 2012), and Lake Pleasant Parkway. Motorists still have to pass through signaled ramp junctions at I-17 until a full freeway-to-freeway interchange is built projected to begin in 2028.

The cornerstone of the park is the 10,000-acre (16 sq mi; 40 km 2), Lake Pleasant, one of the important artificial reservoirs surrounding the Phoenix metropolitan area. Created by the Maricopa Water District's Carl Pleasant Dam, which was finished in 1927, and upon completion, was the largest multi-arch dam in the world.
The Old Waddell Dam approximately halfway submerged under rising waters of the new reservoir, circa 1992. First referred to as the Frogs Tank Dam, the original Waddell Dam was the ambition of local businessmen who wanted to develop a project that used the Agua Fria for the irrigation of around 100,000 acres (40,000 ha) of land.
