Plano Balloon Festival is held each September at Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve in the city of Plano, Texas. It is one of the city's largest celebrations. [1] The festival was cancelled in 2018 because of heavy rains and flooding. It was also cancelled in 2020 and 2021 from the COVID-19 pandemic. It returned in September 2022.
The yearly Plano Balloon Festival is held at Oak Point Park and includes many fun activities such as hot air balloons, fireworks, and skydiving. Overlooking Rowlett Creek. There are also many running/walking activities: 1K, 5K, Half-Marathon, and Relay Race. [8] [9]

Plano was the first city in Collin County to adopt a master plan for its road system. The use of multi-lane, divided highways for all major roads allows for higher speed limits, generally 40 mph (64 km/h), but sometimes up to 55 mph (89 km/h) on the northern section of Preston Road. Plano is served directly by several major roadways and freeways.
