You're the One is the tenth solo studio album by the American singer-songwriter Paul Simon, released in 2000 by Warner Bros. Records. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2001, with Simon becoming the first artist to be nominated in that category in five consecutive decades (1960s–2000s).
The group, originally named the Val-Aires, formed in 1958 at Turtle Creek High School. [1] They signed with Pittsburgh manager Elmer Willet, who produced their first recording release "Which One Will It Be/Launie My Love".
