The city of Laurens is served by Laurens County School District 55, which also includes the neighboring towns of Gray Court, Hickory Tavern, and Waterloo. The following public schools are located within the city of Laurens: E.B. Morse Elementary, Ford Elementary, Laurens Elementary, Sanders Middle, Laurens Middle and Laurens District 55 High. [18]
