The Guangzhou–Shenzhen Intercity Railway, also known as the Suishen Intercity Railway (Chinese: 穗深城际铁路; pinyin: Suì-Shēn Chéngjì Tiělù) [7] is a 97-kilometre (60 mi) regional rapid railway line that runs roughly along the east bank of the Pearl River connecting the major cities of Guangzhou, Dongguan, and Shenzhen.
It will feature a length of 73.996 km (45.979 mi) [1] from Xintang South to Shenzhen Airport, operating at a top speed of 140 km/h (87 mph) [1] [4] using CRH6A trains. This is the third railway between Guangzhou and Shenzhen. It is slower than the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link but faster than the Guangzhou–Shenzhen railway.
