The 2017 Copa CONMEBOL Libertadores (officially the Copa CONMEBOL Libertadores Bridgestone 2017 for sponsorship reasons) [2] was the 58th edition of the CONMEBOL Libertadores (also referred to as the Copa Libertadores), South America's premier club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL.
The Copa de Competencia "La Nación" (also called "Concurso por Eliminación") was an official Argentine football cup competition organized by dissident "Federación Argentina de Football" (FAF), being first held in 1913. The tournament only had two editions, the last in 1914.
The draw of the tournament was held on 12 April 2019, 12:00 PET (), at the Peruvian Football Federation headquarters in Lima, Peru. [3] [4] The eight teams were drawn into two groups of four and each group had two CONCACAF teams and two CONMEBOL teams.
