Gebser v. Lago Vista 524 U.S. 274 (1998) is a United States Supreme Court ruling regarding sexual harassment in schools. The case was heard before the Rehnquist Court on March 25, 1998, and decided on June 22, 1998. [1]
A crowning achievement of the district was the opening, during the 1970–1971 school year, of two new high schools: Westland High School and Grove City High School. These two buildings, planned to house two thousand students, were built in 1970-1971 at the amazing low cost of $18.98 per square foot, or a perpupil cost of $1,700.
The school has grown to over 175 staff members. Initially housed in the Linden Church of Christ, the school now has 5 campus locations (3 elementary, 1 middle, and 1 high school) and a district central office. The school is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools, International (ACSI) [4] and by AdvancED . [2]
