Chloë Stevens Sevigny (/ ˈ s ɛ v ən i / SEV-ən-ee; [1] born November 18, 1974) is an American actress. Known for her work in independent films , often appearing in controversial or experimental features, Sevigny is the recipient of several accolades , including a Golden Globe Award , as well as a nomination for an Academy Award .
Sevigny made her directorial debut with the short film Kitty, which premiered at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, followed by the short film Carmen, which she directed for a 2017 Miu Miu campaign. In 2019, she appeared in a lead role in Jim Jarmusch's zombie comedy The Dead Don't Die, and in the drama The True Adventures of Wolfboy.
