Shoto Todoroki (Japanese: 轟 焦凍, Hepburn: Todoroki Shōto), also known by the mononym Shoto (ショート, Shōto), is a superhero and one of the main protagonists of the manga series My Hero Academia, created by Kōhei Horikoshi. Being the only child who inherited both Endeavor and Rei's Quirks, Shoto was often separated from his siblings.
Shoto rescues Deku, Bakugo, and Endeavor from falling, who are all shocked to see Shigaraki still standing, refusing to listen to All For One's words to retreat. Nejire and Ida arrive to warn the others of Gigantomachia's incoming rampage, with the former assisting Shoto in fighting Shigaraki, while the latter helps escort the injured heroes away.
After Shoto's talk with his father Endeavor, Todoroki displays his overwhelming power and easily wins his match against Hanta Sero, becoming Izuku's opponent in the following round. Everyone watches in disbelief of Todoroki's power, and Izuku notices that he looks immensely sad.

Shoto joins the fight, but Shigaraki gouges one of Aizawa's eyes out, allowing him to regenerate as Gigantomachia continues his path of destruction, destroying various cities. Shigaraki's body begins to tear itself apart as his upgrade is incomplete, while Deku unlocks Nana Shimura's Quirk, giving him the ability to float in mid-air.
Shoto says he can't forgive Endeavor so easily for what he did to their mother and is unsure of how to feel. Bakugo barges his way in, yelling at them not to talk about sensitive subjects in front of guests, which led Izuku to apologize and tell her they knew about everything already.
