Roberto Agustín Miguel Santiago Samuel Trujillo Veracruz [2] [3] was born in Santa Monica, California, on October 23, 1964.He is of Mexican and Native American descent. [4] [5] He grew up in Culver City, California, [6] where his father was a teacher at Culver City High School.
Bassist Robert Trujillo was a mainstay of the Ozzy Osbourne band lineup during the late 1990s and early 2000s, remaining until he joined Metallica in 2003. Infectious Grooves is an American funk metal supergroup led by vocalist Mike Muir and initially a side project from his group Suicidal Tendencies.The current lineup also includes guitarists Dean Pleasants and Dave Kushner, bassist Robert Trujillo, and drummer Jay Weinberg.
The group members each went their separate ways, with Webbe forming "ragga metal" band Skindred who released six studio albums; Trujillo going on to join Metallica in 2003 where he remains to this day; and Brooks Wackerman working with Bad Religion, Tenacious D, Fear and the Nervous System, and, for a brief time in 2007, Korn.
