Interstate 135 (I-135) is an approximately 95.7-mile-long (154.0 km) auxiliary Interstate Highway in central and south-central Kansas, United States.I-135, which is signed as north–south, runs between I-35 and the Kansas Turnpike in Wichita north to I-70, U.S. Highway 40 (US-40), and US-81 in Salina.
The Kansas Department of Transportation will be closing the center and right lanes of northbound I-135 from 2nd street to 8th street at 9 p.m. on Friday, June 28, according to a KDOT news release.
K-254 begins at the intersection of Interstate 135 (I-135), I-235, U.S. Route 81 (US-81), K-15 and K-96 north of Wichita. It bypasses Kechi, Benton and Towanda, ending in downtown El Dorado at an intersection with US-54 and US-77. It is limited access from I-135 to just east of Kechi.

Interstate 235 (I-235) in Kansas is a 16.52-mile-long (26.59 km) north–south bypass spur route of I-35 that travels through the western part of Wichita. Its northern terminus is at an interchange with I-135 / U.S. Highway 81 (US-81)/ K-15 / K-96 / K-254 north of the city, where the freeway continues east as K-254.
