Mahtomedi (/ ˌ m ɑː t oʊ ˈ m iː d aɪ / MAH-toh-MEE-dy) [3] is a city in Washington County, Minnesota, United States.The population was 8,138 at the 2020 census. [4] Mahtomedi is a suburb of St. Paul and is located between St. Paul and Stillwater along the shores of White Bear Lake.
The school colors are blue and gold, and the athletic teams are known as the Zephyrs. The district (district #0832) was created in 1870, and the original high school was built in 1930. In 1970 a new high school building was constructed several miles south east of the original building and this remains the current high school campus.
Minnesota State Highway 120 (MN 120) is a 7.2-mile-long (11.6 km) state highway in Minnesota, which runs from a point south of its interchange with Interstate 94 (I-94) in Maplewood (near Landfall) and continues north to its northern terminus at its intersection with MN 244 and County Road 15 (CR 15) at the White Bear Lake–Mahtomedi boundary line.
