Ocean Waves, known in Japan as I Can Hear the Sea (Japanese: 海がきこえる, Hepburn: Umi ga Kikoeru), is a 1993 Japanese anime coming-of-age romantic drama television film directed by Tomomi Mochizuki and written by Keiko Niwa (credited as Kaoru Nakamura) based on the 1990–1992 novel of the same name by Saeko Himuro.
Doraemon: Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil [2] (ドラえもん のび太の海底鬼岩城, Doraemon Nobita no Kaiteiki Ganjō) is a 1983 Japanese animated science fantasy film and the fourth Doraemon feature film, released on March 12, 1983, in Japan.
Doraemon at first reject hims outright thinking it is ludicrous, but after learning news about recently discovered treasury, he helps Nobita in his sea voyage in search for the secret treasure. Bringing along Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo, they roam the Pacific Ocean while playing ship and sea danger simulators with Doraemon's gadgets.
Note: Early episode guides apparently stated that episode 51 (season 2/episode 25) of the dub series would be "Adventures in Candy Land." This episode was not dubbed or aired in the U.S., possibly due to concerns from Disney–ABC Television Group about it encouraging children to overindulge in sweets.
