Griffith Film School (GFS) is a media production baccalaureate college that is part of Griffith University, located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Bachelor's degrees range from film and television production, animation, and game design. It is housed in the heritage-listed former South Brisbane Library.
Griffith University is a public research university in South East Queensland on the east coast of Australia. The university was founded in 1971, but was not officially opened until 1975. [10] Griffith University is credited with introducing Australia's first degrees in environmental science and Asian studies.
The University is named after Sir Samuel Walker Griffith, twice Premier of Queensland and the first Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia. Sir Samuel Griffith played a significant role in the Federation of Australia and was the principal author of the Australian Constitution. Griffith Business School is accredited in this way. [2]
