Lakewood Yacht Club is a yacht club located in Seabrook, Texas, and is a member of the Gulf Yachting Association. The club sits on 38 acres of land, housing six sheds and seven docks. The facilities include over 250 covered slips for power boats and there are an additional 200+ open slips on fixed and floating piers.
MacGregor has also built a 36-foot (11 m) catamaran, and a 65-foot (20 m) yacht. The final model produced was the MacGregor 26 M, a 26-foot (7.9 m) trailerable sailboat, which is now under production as the Tattoo 26. [ 3 ]
The club was founded as Dallas Sailing Club (DSC) in 1928 on White Rock Lake. [4] When White Rock Lake dried up in 1956, the Dallas Sailing Club, together with some members of the Corinthian Sailing Club decided to move to Lewisville Lake under the name Dallas Corinthian Yacht Club .

The club was incorporated on November 13, 1923. In 1950, it merged with the Southwestern Yacht Club. [a] The two clubs had been the most active racing clubs in Corpus Christi. CCSC's first regatta, a 12 boat Snipe competition, took place June 15 and 16, 1946. [4]
