Los Banos (/ l oʊ s ˈ b æ n oʊ s / lohss BAN-ohss), alternatively Los Baños (/ l oʊ s ˈ b æ n j oʊ s / lohss BAN-yohss), is a city in Merced County, California, United States. It is located in the San Joaquin Valley in Central California , near the junction of State Route 152 and Interstate 5 .
The highway crosses the California Aqueduct north of Interstate 5 and enters Los Banos several miles later. It meets up with SR 152 and SR 33 , known locally as Pacheco Boulevard . Santa Nella is an unincorporated area and census-designated place (CDP) [5] [6] in Merced County, California, United States. It is located 10 miles (16 km) west-northwest of Los Banos at an elevation of 154 feet (47 m). [3] As of the 2020 census, Santa Nella had a population of 2,211, [4] up from 1,380 at the 2010 census. [7]
