Bellawongarah is a locality in the City of Shoalhaven in New South Wales, Australia. [2] [3] It lies west of the Princes Highway on the Kangaroo Valley Road between Berry and Kangaroo Valley. It lies about 23 km north of Nowra and about 160 km south of Sydney. At the 2016 census, it had a population of 127. [1]

Corang River rises on the western slopes of the Budawang Range and flows generally northwest, joined by five minor tributaries, before reaching its confluence with the Shoalhaven River at Cardies Point, north of Corang, [2] descending 209 metres (686 ft) over its 23 kilometres (14 mi) course.
