Generally speaking, when shopping for a used UTV such as a 900XP or maybe a Ranger 1000 type machine, is there a point where there are just too many miles to continue to consider it further? While searching on line, I see there obviously are a lot of machines of all years with all sorts of hours and miles on them, but is there a limit when you ...
As requested here is what is required to do the road legal to your UTV. 1.) Laminated glass windshield (Auto style) You can get them direct from Polaris for either the ranger or rzr. 2.) Wiper. I prefer electric but you can use a manual wiper. Again Polaris has a very nice power wiper system for either Ranger. 3.) Horn.
I have seen Polaris snowmobile, atv, utv, fail. I feel a little different now in that I want a full size Polaris Ranger, 570 machine. I know the 800's had serious overheating issues, and it was a hit and miss if you got a good machine or a bad one. I think all that has changed with these new engines and top quality machine Polaris is building ...

We are interested in getting a UTV and will frequently use it to access hiking spots with the dogs. We have looked at both the Polaris Ranger 570 Crew and the JD Gator ...
I'm a new Ranger owner and at the end of break in period for my machine. I prefer to use an oil other than polaris oil because I'm a a ways from dealer and feel there are other good there. I was wondering about Rotella T6 synthetic 5W 40. I know the the book says 5w 50. Also I see Ansoil has 5w 50. What do you long time experienced users recommend.
Honestly, the best plow for your money is the cheapest. You don't deal with much snow, so I'd invest very little. Almost anything on the market will deal with 10" of wet snow. That being said, my Polaris poly plow was the best I've used on ATV/UTV. It had a "c" shape to it and plowed great and kept snow from running off the sides.
