TV Japan aired Doraemon in its original Japanese version without subtitles [citation needed] in the US and Canada from May 2012 until March 2014. The U.S. dub of Doraemon started airing on 7 July 2014 on Disney XD in the US, Disney XD aired a few episodes of the show in Canada in the summer of 2015 for two weeks before pulling it.
Doraemon decides it is better to keep it that way and assures Nobita that his grandmother's wish will be fulfilled. During the end credits, many points of Nobita's past and future life and the events on the current day it takes place in are seen with the final one showing a frame of him with his grandmother and him with Shizuka.
