Grayson County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky.As of the 2020 census, the population was 26,420. [1] Its county seat is Leitchfield. [2] The county was formed in 1810 and named for William Grayson (1740–1790), a Revolutionary War colonel and a prominent Virginia political figure.
Grayson is located in east-central Carter County along the Little Sandy River, a tributary of the Ohio River. Route 60 passes through the city as Main Street and is intersected in downtown by Kentucky Routes 1 and 7 (Carol Malone Boulevard). Interstate 64 runs through the northern end of the city, with access to KY 7 at Exit 172.

Millerstown is located in the eastern portion of Grayson County along Kentucky Route 224 (KY 224) at its junction with KY 479. Millerstown is also located along the Nolin River, which marks the Hart County line.
