I am trying to figure out when I first played Stardew. I did some digging on Steam and found that I first bought Stardew back in February in 2019. I love creating new saves just to do the "Community Center in Year 1" challenge. I've clocked almost 900 hours on Stardew on my Switch. Heeeeeeeeh.
Aug 26, 2024. #8. Yep, what Ereo said. There will definitely be a 1.6 update for Switch, we just don't have a release date for when it will come out. ConcernedApe is personally focused on mobile right now, but there should be a team working on the console ports right now as well.

Jul 14, 2024. #4. A release date has not been announced. Whenever we know more from ConcernedApe, we will share that information here on the forums! I will say that in the past, consoles have received updates ahead of mobile, and the 1.6 update is still in the works for consoles as well.
