Walked through the Witches Gulch as part of our upper Dells boat trip. Fascinating to get up close to the sandstone banks and the intricate bath the river carved over thousands of years. Fairly easy walk even for someone using a cane. The path is mostly flat with a gentle incline.

The path through the gulch is narrow in some spots. The actual trail is smooth to walk on (boards) and is relatively flat. So beautiful to see in person. There is a concession stand and bathrooms at the end of the path and then you make your way back to the boat the same way.
